Zakopane 7th-13th March 2016
It is our pleasure to announce that the conference Applications of Algebra XX organized by Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of Jan Długosz University will be held on 7-13.03.2016.
The conference is twentieth of the series. The idea of the event is to put together researchers in different topics, where algebra is involved, to promote interaction and cooperation. We hope to gather people who apply algebra in one way or another: pure algebraists, other mathematicians, computer scientists, logicians, linguists etc.
We believe that the twentieth conference will be a special one, both to our devoted participants and to those who will attend it for the first time.
The event will be held at hotel Fian in Zakopane, Poland. It is a quiet hotel situated in a beautiful scenery. Zakopane, which is about 100 km south of Cracow and can be reached from there by bus or train, is regarded as the winter capital of Poland. At this time of year there are usually good skiing opportunities.
All researchers are cordially invited to attend. The arrival day will be Monday, 7th March, the departure is planned on Sunday, 13th March (before noon).
To participate please fill in the registration form. If you want to give a talk we kindly ask you to send the abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do this before 30th January, since we are going to publish the book of abstracts before the conference starts. Tentative programme and other details will be put in the second announcement in February. Do not hesitate to contact us to obtain any information you need.
