Zakopane 20th-26th March 2017
It is our pleasure to announce that the conference Applications of Algebra XXI will be held on 20-26.03.2017. This edition of the conference is organized by the Chair of Logic, Methodology and Epistemology of Jan Długosz University under the auspices of the Polish Association of Logic and Philosophy of Science.
The conference is twenty-first of the series. The idea of the event is to put together researchers in different topics, where algebra is involved, to promote interaction and cooperation. We hope to gather people who apply algebra in one way or another: pure algebraists, other mathematicians, computer scientists, logicians, linguists, etc.
The event will be held in hotel Fian in Zakopane, Poland. It is a quiet hotel situated in a beautiful scenery. Zakopane, which is about 100 km south of Cracow and can be reached from there by bus or train, is regarded as the winter capital of Poland. At this time of year there are usually good skiing opportunities.
All researchers are cordially invited to attend. The arrival day will be Monday, 20th March, the departure is planned on Sunday, 26th March (before noon).
